YOGYAKARTA - Halal Club Yogyakarta (HCY) expresses full support for the holding of Jogja Halal Fest (JHF) #3 which will take place on 4-6 December 2026 at Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Yogyakarta.
This support was conveyed in a limited meeting HCY with a number of business actors. The meeting participants were optimistic that JHF#3 would become a strategic space to expand the use of halal products while bringing together business actors with consumers, buyers and business partners.
Retail entrepreneur figure Yogyakarta, Hj. Pamela Sunardi Sahuri enthusiastically welcomed the implementation of JHF#3. The committee requires that participants in exhibitions and business-to-business activities have clear business legality and bring products that meet halal requirements.
This policy is expected to increase the trust of visitors and business partners in the products displayed. JHF#3 is also expected to become an educational tool for business actors who are preparing the legality and certification of their products.
Entrepreneur Wawan Harmawan estimates that the availability of JHF #3 booth will soon be fulfilled. The high interest of business actors is considered to show that the promotion of halal products is increasingly gaining ground among the business world and society.
Chairman of HCY DIY Mursida Rambe emphasized that the campaign to use halal products needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis. According to him, the scope of halal products is now increasingly wider, not only food and drinks, but also fashion, creative products, as well as various goods and services used in everyday life.
"Awareness of using products labeled halal has become a necessity, not just a form of defending a product," said Mursida, who is also the founder and leader of BMT Beringharjo.
HCY believes that halal products will be increasingly sought after if they are supported by good quality, attractive packaging, appropriate promotions, and real benefits for society. Therefore, it is hoped that JHF#3 will not only be an exhibition venue, but also a space to improve the quality and competitiveness of business actors.
The collaboration of HCY, the committee, the community and the business world is expected to strengthen the position of JHF#3 as one of the important agendas for developing the Indonesian halal industry.
